Back again...

It's been sometime now since I last updated my blog... To tell you the truth, I haven't been in the mood to do anything... Don't ask me why... I just don't know... Oh well... Maybe it's because 1 September's drawing closer... Dread that day... Sigh... But it has to come before 22 December does... So what the hell... Hate it as I may, but go through it I must. Sigh... But I can't say 2 weeks prior to this was horrible...

Well, for those who are reading my blog after a long long time... Well 2 weeks ago, I went on a cruise to Redang with my darling Albert and his sisters and their family/bf... We had a ball of a time... And I swear, I don't ever want that to end (maybe with the exception of the very start of the cruise)... HAIZ... Anywayz, there was 3 of us to a room... or cabin rather... and it was pretty alright... Given the amount of room there was on the ship... First night we were exploring the ship after dinner, taking in the sights... After that, we went our separate ways... His sisters n their company went to play Bingo while Albert and I went to the 'spa'... It's actually an aqua swim and a steam room and a sauna... Kinda all right I guess... After that, we went back to the cabin to bathe and change... And joined the rest of them for supper... After supper, the boys went to play (gamble actually) in the casino while the gals went for Karaoke... After a while, I went to the casino to look for Albert and his Bro-in-law... Well... They were losing quite a bit at baccarat... And by that time it was 4plus am... So we figured it was about time we headed back to sleep...

Breakfast the next day was at the Chinese restaurant on the ship (duh)... we were still somewhere in the middle of the sea... But were reaching in a bit... After breakfast, we went to the Galaxy of Stars (their lounge) to look around... That also doubled up as the Observation lounge and passage way to the Bridge... There was Bingo after that, and so we stayed on a bit to play... But before that, there was some Shao Lin demo and they required volunteers from the audience... So first to be sabo-ed was my darling... So I thought I was safe... Little did I know I was next in line... Shit!!! I was wearing a skirt... Lol... How to do all those kicks and what have you... I swear... I made a total fool of myself... oh well... But it was fun all the same... Then Bingo came next (we obviously didn't win... It was some spoilt sport from our lovely island who won).. And after that, we got changed and got ready to go down to Redang...

Redang's an island somewhere off the East Coast of Malaysia... Nice place... Beautiful beach and crystal clear waters (but it's freak-a-do-da-day salty)... And lots of fish... And coral (it hurts when you step on them)... And when we went, it was ultra hot in the early afternoon and got rather cloudy in the later part of the day... Anywayz, we spent half the day there snorkeling, playing in the water, burying my darling and building sand castles... It was fun! We also took LOADS of pictures at the More More Tea Inn... Anywayz, we headed back to the ship to rest before dinner... Dinner was yummy... It was a BBQ dinner... Really good steaks and what have yous... And lots of longans too... After dinner, Albert and I went to the casino to learn to play the games... We learned Baccarat and Black Jack... Black Jack was easy... hehez... And I won about $60 the first time I sat at the table... Anywayz... After a while, we went back up to the Galaxy of Stars to wait for the rest of the gang to appear to watch the magic show... They didn't show up 'cause they were all zzz-ing... So Albert and I decided to just stay and watch the show... Little did we expect it to be 'Little India'! The rest need not be said... No one caught the magician's jokes, a part from a few who understood English, simply because they don't understand the language... It was really really dead... But anyway, after that, we went to the photo gallery to buy our photos... Seriously speaking, everything on the cruise is not bad... Except the photo gallery... The staff there are absolutely HOPELESS!!! No sense of customer service whatsoever... Anyways, I got really pissed off and the rest is history... Anywayz, we headed back to our cabins for the night, exhausted..

Rise and Shine... The last day... It felt too fast... Anywayz, earlier that morning, Albert and his Bro-in-law went to the casino... They were winning quite a bit at Black Jack until one asshole of a woman came along... Anywayz, that aside, after I woke up, I went to the casino to look for them. I asked Bert if they were going for breakfast and he said ok, but after this round... The steward, on the other hand, said, "Ma'am, would you like to take a seat... It's ok... You don't have to play." But after what happened the previous night, how could I not play... So as I sat down, I took $10 worth of chips from Albert's pile and started playing... Before I knew it,I was winning a hell lot... Hehez... Shortly afterwards, everyone else (who was of legal age) came in and joined us... At the end of everything, I had won $130... hehez.... Won 13 times the amount I started with... Hehez... Anywayz, we headed for breakfast after that... This time it was in the western restaurant... Food was yummy... There were breakfast sets (which was either steak or Nasi Lemak), smoked salmon and yogurt, yummy rolls and spreads and the usual cereal and fruits... The eggs, however, were mediocre... But apart from that, it was, on the whole, acceptable... Soon it was time for us to disembark... We were, most definitely, reluctant to go home... All felt it was too short... Oh well... But all good things have to come to an end right... So end it did... We were all tired but at the same time happy...

So that was the short vacation I had... Was enjoyable... Would want to go again... Will be good if I could spend my honeymoon there... Not so short, of course... Hehez... Anywayz, my tummy's growling... Time for me to go get dinner... So till then... Tata...
