Day 31 of OBO... Happy Children's Day...
October's here... And it's Children's Day today too... Sigh... I miss those days... So carefree... No worries... Just study and play... So much innocence... There still is a child in me... But I would also like to have kids of my own... Or should I say, 'our own'... Hehez.. ;)... It'll be so much fun, joy and laughter... Of course, that excludes all the other responsibilities and commitments that come along with a child... But then again, who says that these things would dampen the joy of parenthood... ^_^... Oh well... I'm sure our time will come... All part and parcel of growing up, I guess...
Anyway, today was pretty much the same... Except for the fact that you made my Monday a whole lot better just by calling me... It's really a very pleasant start to the day... It does give me that extra boost for the day... So anyway, spoke to you for a while and then went to wash up after that to get ready for work... After washing up, I went down to eat a bit of breakfast... Then went to wait for Colin... Waited for him till about 1045hrs...
We reached office at about 1100hrs... Work today was the same... Entering all the accounts... Well I managed to complete the accounts payable... So that's two of the big accounts down... Starting on the freight charges (charges incurred when we or our overseas suppliers ship us goods via FedEx, NYK Logistics etc) now... So that will probably be done by the end of tomorrow morning... Then I'll probably get started on the expenses... And if I'm fast enough, by the end of the week I should be able to complete sorting out the whole accounting system... Then I can get started on the catalogue Colin tasked me to do for school projects... Another big project to be completed by the end of October... Well I'm targeting to finish it in 2weeks time... Will tell you the reason later... Hehez... ;)
Anyway, Colin bought lunch back for me... Had Nasi Padang... It was not bad... Not very spicy though... Then I also brought plums from home... Was really sweet...But I could only eat one out of the three that I brought 'cause I was pretty full... Well, after lunch, I continued with the accounts... As per normal... Did it until about 1745hrs... That's when you called... Well it really is comforting to hear your voice... That means I know that you're safe... And it's not that I don't have to worry or what, but it just means that I'm being put at ease... So that's why I always wait for your calls... And should you not call for some reason, I'd be praying even harder that nothing has happened...
Anyway, I left work at about 1830hrs... Walked over to your place to get your bills and all that... 妹妹 was at home... And your mum and Baby... Baby was so so thrilled to see me... She was just jumping up and down and barking her head off... And as usual, she ran to the sofa and jumped up and just wanted me to play with her... Well your mum seemed really happy to see me... As for 妹妹, well she was sleeping... She just got back from school when I reached... So mum went to wake her up... Well, went to chat with her... And she passed me a whole stack of bills... Not cash or what... But all your statements.... Hahaz... Well I'm waiting for your pay to come in... And then I'll pay them all off at once... Will discuss it with you when you call alright... So anyway, mum was nagging again about you not calling her... But I told her that you actually called her three or four times but she hung up on you... Then she said that she could not recognise your voice... Well do call her again alright... She's really worried about you... She also asked when you were coming back... She was thinking that you're going to be home this month... So I told her that you'll only be back in December... And for the first time, she actually showed that she missed you... And I know she's praying for your safety too... So do put her at ease alright... She may not show it, but I can empathise and understand what she's experiencing... In fact, she'll be more worried than me 'cause you're her only son... So ya... Anyway, I left your place at around 2000hrs...
I caught the bus home... Reached at around 2110hrs... Well got home and came online immediately 'cause 妹妹 asked me to help her check her RJ for grammatical errors... Her English is improving now... Her vocabulary's starting to be wider... And she's making less mistakes than before... So that's really good... And I hope you're proud of her... :)... So after that, chatted with Andy and 姐夫 for a while then I went to wash up... After washing up, came back again and started blogging... So yup...
That's pretty much my day... Nothing really interesting... But it still went quite alright... Pretty fast too... So that's good... I'm hoping that the coming days and months will be even faster... And frankly speaking, I'm already looking forward to next Monday... For me now, Monday's and Tuesdays are the best days of the week because it means I'll be really busy and I'm packed up from morning 0930hrs to evening 2200hrs... And it also means that the days will pass much faster and the week will be over in a flash... :)... So anyway darling, take care alright... As usual, I'll be waiting for your calls... I love you baby! Miss you heaps! And see you in dream land...
