Day 37 of OBO... Marriage?
Today was a pretty lazy day... It rained a bit this morning... Well, I woke up at around 1000hrs... Went to wash up and came on to the computer... Watched the choreography for the musical that the choir's going to put up at the end of the year... Well that's 'cause I'm one of those who have been approached to help to teach the kids to dance... Anyway, was on that for the rest of the morning... And you also called before you went to muster and your bus conductor duty... So that's good... It makes the gloomy morning seem brighter all of a sudden... ^_^...
I had lunch and then came back up to the computer... Didn't do much... Just cleared out my emails and browsed through Face Book... After a while, I did my music theory... Had to 'cause the exams are in three weeks time... That means mission and Christmas musical preparations will be starting soon!!! Yeah!!!! Busy, busy, busy!!!! I like!!!!
After finishing my theory, I went to wash up to get ready to go to your place to meet 妹妹, Andy, 姐姐, Kevin, Mary-Ann, Kait Kait, and Theresa to go to Old Airport Road to meet your dad for dinner... Well it's his birthday today... Not the Chinese one though...We'll be celebrating that next Sunday at the vegetarian restaurant... But I don't think it's the actual day either... Can't say it out right? Anyway, I left the house at around 1600hrs... Reached Potong Pasir at around 1645hrs... Went up to your place for a while 'cause I was early... Mum was so happy to see me... Baby was going crazy that she actually ran out of the house to let me pat her... She's not scared anymore... So that's good... She's putting on weight... And is very hyperactive and spoilt now... She refuses to eat from the bowl... Someone has to feed her... But now she knows how to 'give paw' and roll over (she knows it as 'sayang')...
So anyway, you had more bills coming in... And there were also two financial reports from the investment company which I left on your table... So see what you want to do with them when you get home OK? Anyway, I talked with them while we waited for 姐姐 and the gang to reach... Met them at around 1745hrs and we walked over to the St Andrew's bus stop to catch 31 to the food centre to meet your dad and your aunties and uncles...
The food centre wasn't too hard to find... We'll go there when you come back alright (another addition to the 'things to do' list)... Well, we had dinner there (duh!!)... I had prawn noodles (apparently it's from Albert Street)... Not very fantastic... Well, during dinner, your dad told your auntie that I'm your girlfriend and all that... Don't think she recognised me... No make up and all that... So maybe that's why... Anyway, she started talking to your 姐姐 about your grandparents and she said that your grandfather is waiting for and wants to see you get married (*hint hint*)... I kinda understood what she said 'cause she was speaking in Cantonese... And when 姐姐 translated it, it confirmed what I was thinking... Well, after a while, she started speaking to me in Cantonese and obviously I replied her in Cantonese too... Your dad was quite shocked... And I think he somehow forgot that that's my dialect group too... She went on about Winnie not being able to understand and speak it and how that's not good... Haiz... Such things always happen... But I guess that's also a sign for me to go brush up on it... Must learn how to converse in it more fluently now... No more basic stuff...
Anyway, we left there at around 2015hrs... I caught 31 to Guillermard Road to take 70 home... 姐姐, 妹妹 and the rest of them took the bus from the opposite side... Well, I didn't have to wait long for the buses... Caught them almost immediately... Reached home at around 2115hrs... Called Standard Chartered about all these funny reminders they were sending you... Well, I managed to get things sorted out, although they told me that they weren't able to divulge any information because I have not been authorised by you to let me in on any of your account information... What the hell la... Anyway, it's all done now... So nothing to worry... Went to wash up after that... And here I am blogging now... Well that's pretty much my day... Nothing much... I've got work tomorrow... Looking forward to it... I want time to pass even faster... I don't mind having less time for myself... I just want you to come home fast... Then we can embark on our new found journey... Anyway, I love you darling... I miss you lots!!! Thinking of you fondly all the time!!!!

BTW today's Raymond's and Diana's 1st wedding anniversary... I've already wished them... Love the both of us... And they replied saying that they're praying that you'll return safely... They also said this, "May you and Albert advance to another stage of the relationship." Coincidental? After all that's happened this week, I'd like to take it as a sign which I've been wishing and praying for for the longest time... *Wink wink*
